The government of Sarajevo’s Old City Municipality has financed the creation of Sarajevo’s first and the official audio travel guide. The guide is a free app available for Android and Apple (iOS) devices.
Stories – Guide2Sarajevo provides audio stories for 60+ TOP city’s landmarks! Over 3 hours of quality content. Each audio story is 2-3 minutes long and contains most fascinating and historically correct information that you will NOT find in most travel guide books or online.
Maps – Guide2Sarajevo features OFFLINE city map. All content is stored on your device so you don’t need to worry about mobile charges while enjoying the city.
GPS Tracking – Guide2Sarajevo tracks your movement with GPS and gives you exact distances from you to each landmark. No internet connection is required.
Free Paper Maps – Guide2Sarajevo provides FREE unique and most advanced Official Map of Sarajevo to all visitors and hospitality industry subjects. This map is a handy pocket size and available at all good hotels, hostels, restaurants, bars, etc.
Guide2Sarajevo is narrated by David McAlister (the voice of National Geographic, BBC, Discovery) and written by Bosnian history experts and Sarajevo licensed tourist guides.

Additionally, the company “Sarajevo” and the Association “Guardians of Tradition” have developed another unique mobile application Sarajevo City Hall – an audio guide for the Sarajevo City Hall, also a free app available for Android and Apple (iOS) devices.
“Sarajevo City Hall”, an interactive mobile application or audio guide, is intended for all visitors of the most representative building from the Austro-Hungarian period and a symbol of Sarajevo.
The goal of the application is to enable easy visitation to the City Hall in a most informative way. There are 13 interesting audio stories available in English and Bosnian, and audio content in several other languages is being prepared. The audio recordings are divided into units and their duration is a maximum of 3 minutes. The stories contain the most significant historical information about the City Hall, which are carefully collected and consolidated from official sources, professional and technical documentation.
A 3D paper souvenir map of the City Hall, as an addition to the application, represents the pinnacle of technical and graphic design. This unique map ensures clear, precise and simple movement inside the building, and after visiting the City Hall, it can be assembled into an authentic and architecturally correct 3D model of the Sarajevo City Hall. Every visitor to the City Hall will now have the opportunity to own a unique souvenir, the symbol of the city of Sarajevo, the City Hall.
