Visa Requirements

Bosnia and Herzegovina can only be entered with a valid passport. If you are a member of the following states you may enter into Bosnia and Herzegovina with a passport providing identity and citizenship of:

  • Member state of European Union
  • State signatory to the Schengen Agreement
  • Andorra, Montenegro, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino, Serbia, the Holy See and Swiss Confederation
  • Citizens of USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and a number of other countries  also need not to have a visa when traveling to Bosnia & Herzegovina for up to 90 days.

Visa Requirements for GCC Countries

Citizens of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) are a subject to various requirements for the Bosnia & Herzegovina visa. Citizens of the following GCC countries do not require a visa to visit Bosnia & Herzegovina for up to 90 days:

Bahrain
Kuwait
Oman
Qatar
UAE

CItizens of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are required to obtain a visa prior to visiting Bosnia & Herzegovina.
